Jiggety-jog

DrBob is home again (home again), and my brief experiment in Making It On My Own has ended. In his absence, I managed to leave the stove on under the coffeepot (we have one of those stovetop espresso thingies) while I left the house. I was stupid about the car. The Sniglet's kindergarten teacher wants a conference because he's been acting like a turkey. He needs to go to the dentist because after I brushed his teeth he spat blood. I put orange juice in my coffee. I geeked out on my homework and did twice as much as necessary. (No, since you're wondering, I did not have any friends in high school, and thank you for bringing up such a painful subject. ) I put the kids' play-tent outside and then had to run and rescue it before it blew into the street (high winds lately). I spent almost the whole drive to the airport today stuck behind slow, gigantic trucks, right up until the point when I got lost.

So. I think I did pretty well! But I'm still glad he's home.

Song du jour of the day: The Lucky One. Mary Lou Lord.

Yeah, this sounds like it has been an 'off' week for you. Didn't realize you were flying solo...that explains alot !

I think I like the popping in the middle of a thread thing. For one it throws other commenters off and for another thing...ummm, it lets YOU know that I have like read what you wrote or whatever...BUT! What abt someppl who get 20-100 comments...I mean: are they like exempt b/c they are popular? Oooh. Now I am feeling too "Pretty in Pink". Perhaps I should not have said THAT. But its true! If you have 47 comments, do I expect you to track ME down to Holla at me?!?! Am I just glad for an occassional shout out in YOUR comment section b/c that way I know you read what I had to say...( damn! )

Orange juice in your coffee?!?!??! That's a good one. I didn't have a lot of friends either in high school. Hmmm... I don't have a lot of friends now.

Darn you for reminding me!

Glad hubby's back!

High School is Stupid.
Keep in mind that I met you relatively soon AFTER high school and thought you were so darn cool I INSISTED you be my friend. Feel better?
